The message will be sent safely if it is less than 1,000 characters. The length of a spendable message may differ depending on the phone OS or KakaoTalk version. We recommend that the message be less than 1,000 characters long for it to be sent stably. Excessively long messages also impedes UX, so please limit the length and put the screen size into consideration when creating a message.
As specified in the development guide, all parameters sent through KakaoTalk are UTF-8 character strings and must be URL encoded.
Links cannot be shared with other users with the current version. The feature will be available in future versions.
Develop the application in accordance to the development guide and conduct an interwork test with the KakaoTalk distributed in the App Store.

The KakaoLink API can be used freely (no separate process required) if the developer abides by the defined development guide.
However, we may add a user agreement, or other means to gain approval, in the future.
Please send the developer’s contact information and details of how KakaoLink was applied to KakaoLink (kakaolink@kakao.com) after interwork is completed.
