Amendments to Kakao Operation Policy

Greetings from Kakao!

We would like to thank all our members for using Kakao Services and to inform you that amendments will be made to the Kakao Operation Policy.


1. Amendments

Service inactive account policy has been amended and information about Kakao Music has been added to the guideline.

6. Inactive Account Policy (Guidelines for long-term inactive member's Service use)

Unless the Service has been accessed for the following period of time under the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc., the Service Agreement thereof shall be terminated after personal information was destroyed or separately stored.

6. Long-Term Service Use Inactivity Policy


The Service Agreement may be terminated after personal information is destroyed or stored separately, as prescribed below, if the user does not use the Service for a specific amount of time, in order to protect the user’s personal information.
